Jupiter–Federal Bank Account Issue: Money Credited But Balance Not Showing?
Jupiter–Federal Bank users report that credited money and recent transactions are not reflecting correctly in account balances. Here’s what we know about the issue.
Some users of Jupiter-linked Federal Bank savings accounts appear to be experiencing an issue in which their account balance and recent transactions are not being updated correctly on the Jupiter app.
The issue has reportedly been noticed since around 3 PM on August 9, with money transferred to some accounts not immediately appearing in the displayed balance. In some instances, incoming transactions also appear not to be reflected promptly in the transaction history.
This has raised concerns among customers who rely on the Jupiter app to monitor their Federal Bank savings accounts.
Jupiter itself is not a bank. Its official information states that savings accounts offered through the Jupiter platform are hosted by Federal Bank, while Jupiter provides the digital platform through which customers access and manage these accounts. Federal Bank's own terms identify Jupiter as the mobile banking service provider for these accounts.
Could it be a synchronisation issue?
One possibility is a temporary data synchronisation or display problem between the Jupiter application and the underlying Federal Bank banking system.
However, this has not been officially confirmed as the cause.
A balance failing to update on the Jupiter app does not necessarily mean that the money itself has disappeared or that a transaction has failed. The transaction may have been recorded at the banking-system level while the information displayed in the app is delayed.
Federal Bank states that account statements provide records of transactions, balances and other account activity. Therefore, customers facing the issue should cross-check their bank statement, transaction reference/UTR number and SMS alerts rather than relying solely on the balance currently displayed in the Jupiter app.
No confirmed widespread outage yet
As of August 10, 2026, searches of the publicly available information from Jupiter and Federal Bank did not reveal a clear official announcement confirming a widespread outage matching this specific issue.
Therefore, it would be premature to conclude that all Jupiter–Federal Bank accounts are affected or that the problem is a Federal Bank core-banking failure.
Customers whose balances or transactions remain incorrect should report the issue directly to Jupiter support and retain the complaint or ticket number.
Jupiter says customers can obtain support through its app, email or helpline.
